A letter to Santa Paws - GIVEAWAY
Dear Santa Paws,
Pleased to meat chew.
My name is Shadow and I’m an Aussie bulldog who lives in Sydney. I was in the park yesterday and I bumped into my good friend Sandy. Well, we started talking about this and that, you know, the price of Kibble and how annoying the next-door neighbour’s cat is. Do you know, she actually came into our garden the other day and tried to steal my new bone!!!!
Sorry, I’m woofling.
Anyway, Sandy told me that he wrote to you requesting heaps of yummy snacks and pawsome toys on Christmas Day. And I thought that maybe I would chance my paw and write to you myself!
I’ve been a very good girl this year. Well apart from chasing the next-door cat. Oh and that one time I nibbled on a pair of mum’s fur-vourite chews, I mean shoes.
Anyway, I’ve learnt not to growl at the postman or chase dad when he’s riding his bike. And I’ve even learnt not to stand in front of Flutter’s cage (he’s the family Cockatiel) and bark at him.
So, I was hoping that since I’ve been so good this year, you might put some new toys in my dog stocking.
Well as you may be able to see, I’ve got big strong jaws, and I've noticed my dream Christmas dog treat, Giant Candy Cane! I think they are about the only thing big enough to stand up to my chewing.
But I’ve also got a softer side and I like to snuggle up in my possum bed with some of those soft toys with the squeakers in them. I was looking over mum’s shoulder the other day when she was on the Kazoo website and I saw a couple of new toys that made me prick up my ears. (Well, as much as a bulldog can prick up its ears.)
One of them was a Christmas Cockatoo. I'm always chasing birds, so I wouldn't mind one that can't actually fly away. Apparently this one squeaks instead of squawks, fancy that!
Oh, and there was the Aussie Prawn. You know us Aussies love our prawns!
I was also wondering if you could include some of those yummy Kazoo snacks for me for my doggie Christmas dinner. I particularly like the chewy rawhide ones cause they last a long time and give my jaws a good workout. Oh, and the Christmas Bon-Bons and the Christmas Munchy Kebabs. And, between you and me, I’m quite pawtial to those little Christmas candy canes as well.
Although I pretend I don’t like Flutter, I’m secretly a big softie and I’d like to get something for him as a special tweet. So can you get your elves to whip up one of those Christmas Foraging Tree's and maybe a Christmas Bird Star. Don’t say it’s from me though.
Oooh, before I go, I’ve just seen something else I’d like. One of those festive thongs. Dad would love it too. Give his Havaianas a break for a change.
Thongs a lot.
Shadow
P.S Mum wants you to bring me one of those dog santa hats. She says it really captures the drooltide spirit.

@llama.and.bambi.goldens
Bambi is in the naughty list for destroying her and llama’s bed, and being a 6am alarm clock every day. Llama is on the nice list for giving extra cuddles and eating all his vegetables
Miss Mia is still borderline, but hoping to make the nice list. She destroyed her new Kazoo Lanky toy within hours, chewed up the tissue box and made tissue snow, she annoys her kitty sister constantly (but also occasionally loves on her), she terrified a poor lady at the park who didn’t understand bulldog growls are happy sounds, and just today she wiped her butt on my pillow. But she also alerted us insistently when her kitty brother fell from the balcony. He’s an inside cat, and she probably saved his life. So that probably makes us for all the naughties ❤️
@miatherolypolybulldog
This year we are on the nice list! We have learnt how to become office dogs with mum and dad as they worked from home (and only barked at the courier driver a little bit!) We have also been super good girls on our walkies (looking good with our new Kazoo harnesses as well!) We are getting better at not barking at other dogs even though we are super excited to meet them! You can find us at @doxiepoo_x2
After keeping the hoomum company through lockdowns four, five and six this year I definitely belong on the nice list. Santa just needs to ignore those few toilet rolls I destroyed and that pair of pants that I ate
Our little Funk (@funkdog_) has been the goodest boy – definitely on the nice list, because he just got desexed yesterday and has been a champion over the last 24 hours! Lots of kisses and cuddles for our brave little dude – and lots of snoozes on his Kazoo Joey bed!!
